A story of mine called "Levee" has just appeared in Orchid, Issue 6, alongside great work from Bob Thurber and Patricia Stiles, among others. A college friend named Gerry Halphen gave me the story's opening image a little more than twenty years ago when his family took me in for Thanksgiving my freshman year of college, and I am grateful.
